Tangled Up Farms didn’t start with a business plan—it started at our parents’ kitchen table, with the simple peace of knowing exactly what was on our plates. Back then, raising our own meat was just what you did when you wanted to feed your family well: early mornings, clean bedding, full water buckets, and the steady rhythm of chores that never asked for applause. Word travels fast when food tastes like something you can trust, and soon it wasn’t just us. Family and friends began asking, then relying on us, and before we knew it we were loading coolers, rolling into farmers markets, and realizing this way of farming could feed a whole community. After 25 years, the lesson is still the same: top-quality meat comes from happy, healthy animals. You can see it in the way our chickens fan out across fresh pasture, our pigs root and lounge, and our cattle and sheep move calmly through rotational grazing—always onto new grass, always with time for the land to recover. We raise pasture-raised, non‑GMO fed chicken, pork, beef, lamb, and turkeys with a careful eye and a patient hand, because the details show up at dinnertime—rich flavor, clean finish, and the quiet confidence of knowing where your food came from.
